Why Join?
Benefits of joining our group are:
-
Monthly Meetings: Meetings are held on the second
Saturday of each month from 1.00pm - 3.30pm in the Sherwood Main Hall,
City Hospital, Nottingham.
-
Except during August, various guest speakers are
invited to talk about items of interest for about 30-45 minutes,
then we break for coffee and cake, and then chat among ourselves.
-
Social Fibro Friend: We can also put you in touch
with other group members in your area.
-
Helplines: As fibromyalgia is unpredictable, not
everyone is able to attend our meetings on a regular basis,
this is where our helpline team can help to maintain contact. Our
helplines are available to call should you, your friends and carers
need information, help, advice and support, or just to have a chat.
-
Benefit advice: you must be a member to use this
link, our Disabilty Advisor Ken Orme will only accept e-mail queries
together with your group membership number.
-
Newsletters: 'Fibro Focus Supporter' with the latest
news and information on all aspects regarding Fibromyalgia, four
issues per year.
See also the latest news, events
and links to other useful sites.
Library: At every Saturday
meeting, we have the latest books for sale or to lend (at a small
cost!). We can also order books for you.
We are a pro-active group working together for everyone!
v
For NON members joining the group
