Meetings Next meeting: Dates below, (2nd Saturday of the month)Meetings are held at the Sherwood Main Hall (south corridor) within the City Hospital Complex which has entrances off both Hucknall Road and Edwards Road, See Map below. This is within easy reach of the M1 motorway and other main trunk roads into Nottingham, located next to the ring road north-west of Nottingham city centre. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and homemade food are served during a break period. Below are the dates for our monthly meetings held on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00pm until around 4:00pm.
SATURDAY GROUP MEETING DIARY DATES 2008 JANUARY 12th: PHYSIOTHERAPIST FROM THE QUEENS MEDICAL CENTRE. FEBRUARY 9th: DVD STRETCHING EXERCISES FOR FIBROMYALGIA. MARCH 8th: THE BOWEN TECHNIQUE. APRIL 12th: OPEN DAY 10-30am to 4pm. Coffee shop/tombola/EPP info/Fibromyalgia information/resource stands with multi information. patients families and carers, Medical Professionals welcome. MAY 10th: DWP---WAITING CONFORMATION. FIBROMYALGIA INTERNATIONAL AWARENESS DAY TO BE CELEBRATED. JUNE 14th: GROUP AGM and Symptom/Solution swop. JULY 12th: SUMMER SOCIAL WITH GUEST SPEAKER. AUGUST NO MEETING. SEPTEMBER 13th: INCORPORATING NATIONAL FIBROMYALGIA AWARENESS WEEK. OCTOBER 11th: NOVEMBER 8th: DECEMBER 13th: CHRISTMAS SOCIAL.

v For NON members joining the group meetings, sufferers and people accompanying them, there is a small fee of £2-50 per person payable on the door, no charge for under 18’s. For people becoming members on the same day, the £2-50 will be refundable off the membership. Please note the door charge only applies to non members and the people accompanying them. This will be in effect from January 1st 2006.. |
