Events Diary Events are all open to the general public where various activities or shows are undertaken by organisations from around the region. Unless otherwise stated all events are held at Sherwood Main Hall, City Hospital, Nottingham, NG5 1PB. Wilkinson stores have kindly donated vouchers to the group to support us with our fundraising. ------------- DIARY DATES 2008 JANUARY 12th--PHYSIOTHERAPIST FROM THE QUEENS MEDICAL CENTRE. FEBRUARY 9th--GUEST SPEAKERS ON "BODY TALK". MARCH 8th--THE BOWEN TECHNIQUE Presentation. Speaker cancelled. The "EFT" Emotional Freedom Technique Will be Presented. APRIL 12th--OPEN DAY 10-30am to 4pm. Coffee shop/tombola/EPP info/Fibromyalgia information/Resource stands with multi-information. Patients families and carers (MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS MOST WELCOME). 11am, Fibromyalgia presentation by Graham Broughton Osteopath. 1.15pm The Law centre from Chesterfield will be making a presentation on disability rights. The Getbackcare Supplies will be having a resource stand throughout the day. MAY 10th--GROUP AGM. JUNE 14th--Bowen Technique--- TO BE CONFIRMED. JULY 12th--Summer Social with guest speaker Senior Physiotherapist from the Q.M.C. AUGUST NO MEETING. SEPTEMBER 13th--Incorporating national Fibromyalgia AWARENESS WEEK.guest speaker presenting the LIGHTNING PROCESS. All day meeting with more speakers, buffet lunch for £5.00, latest date to purchase tickets will be our July meeting, the awareness day will initially be for group members only, tickets on a first come first served basis, please contact the committee. OCTOBER 11th--Yet to be decided. NOVEMBER 8th--Yet to be decided. DECEMBER 13th. Christmas Social. All meetings are held on the 2nd SATURDAY of each month in the Sherwood Hall, Nottingham City Hospital at 1-30pm. ACCESS into GATE 5 OFF EDWARDS ROAD, PAY & DISPLAY CAR PARK DIRECTLY AT THE SIDE OF HEYWOOD HOUSE. Members free entrance, non members £2-50 entrance fee. OPEN DAY ENTRANCE FREE FOR EVERYONE. Start 10-30am to 4pm.
